FAQ

TATTOO with derm
Remove the second skin/derm bandage after 3 days while in the shower. Use warm water, anti-bacterial soap and just your hand to clean the tattoo. If there is any adhesive residue do not scrub, it will come off as you lotion and clean the tattoo normally.

Once the bandage has been removed and you’ve cleaned the tattoo, let it air dry for 10 minutes and then you may apply a thin layer of non-scented water-based lotion (aveeno, lubriderm, eucerin, jergens, coca butter). Continue to apply lotion at least twice a day until it stops itching and flaking.

Do not soak/emerse tattoo in water for the first 2 weeks or workout for the first week. It can get wet, but excessive soaking or sweating is not good in the initial few days. Do not apply Neosporin or Vasoline….EVER!!

PIERCING
Wash hands thoroughly prior to handling/cleaning the piercing!

Only use Saline solution to clean your piercing. Apply the solution to a Q-Tip, not the piercing, and apply to the front and back of the new piercing twice a day.

When you clean the jewelry, be sure to tighten the ball (if applicable). The balls will naturally loosen on their own, so ensuring that they are tight will help keep the ball on the post.

Do not soak/submerse the new piercing for at least a month. Avoid letting wet hair sit on the piercing for too long as well. Also, avoid sleeping directly on the piercing as this will irritate.

The average heal time varies, but do not change jewelry for at least the first 6 months.

NEVER USE hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, or Neosporin on your new piercing.
